Details

This bone in paleta is the cured front shoulder ham. Smaller and thinner than back shoulder (jamon) it cures much faster and has less time to aging. The black porks used for Fermín`s paleta iberico pigs are a very rare and exclusive breed indigenous only to Spain. These Spanish porks are fed a diet of high-quality grain and are free range. Fermín`s iberico hams and paletas have a rich red color with beautiful white marbling. The flavor is superb, rich, intense and yet smooth and silky at the same time. Try it and you won't regret it!

We are big ham lovers, and we decided to try paleta because it's really a good-price option. This product is nice, tender, soft taste, but if you love jamon as much as we do... you'd prefer Iberico ham. Ham meat flavor is ten thousand times more rich and complex than paleta. (Posted on 10/11/2017)
